19th Annual Bunny Photos Easter Special
Until I began our Santa’s Workshoppe Experience our bunny photos Easter Special was our most popular event. It’s still number 2 and usually sells out completely every year! The kids love the baby bunnies and talk about their sessions for months – even years!
I’ve been using the same breeder for over 15 years now so we’ve figured out all the little tricks to make these sessions go smooth. When I started doing this special I had someone tell I was crazy. They said I would drive myself bonkers trying to work with kids and animals together. And at first they were right! I tried doing the bunny photos with adult bunnies – not good. I tried a number of different breeds – catastrophe! Eventually I worked it out and it’s been smooth sailing ever since.
I’ve used a number of different sets and backgrounds over the years but the two most popular are the barn set and our light/white setting. So that’s what I’ll have again this year. The set in this photo was probably #3 and we’ll bring it back again – maybe for our 20th Annual? But you can see the joy on this little girl’s face. That is something we see very much during the bunny photos.
I can accommodate multiple children in both sets and this year their is no extra charge for more children in the same portrait. However, keep in mind every time you add a child you add an extra level of difficulty. Many of the portraits I create during the bunny photos Easter Special are interactive like this one. Getting the standard “look at the camera and smile photo” isn’t always possible but I always (well 99%) capture at least one great image!
