Hot Pants

So … I had a chance this morning to see how well the Gerbings electric pants work. It was only 2 degrees when I left for the office this morning so I geared up and plugged in! I’ve had the jacket liner and controller for a few years but what a difference it was having warm legs too! My only mistake was not plugging in the gloves 🙁 It is amazing how much colder it is when you’re travelling at 100 kph!!

But it also exhilarating and really got my mind thinking about some portrait ideas, our “pink” Saltscapes booth, and the Grand Opening of our Elmsdale studio after I get back. Tomorrow I head to Halifax to the PPOC convention as I am a presenter at the Judging Clinic for training some new judges. My topic is “Making Your Point – with Clarity, Reason and Passion!” I am also slated to spend the rest of the day at the Image Critique which is an excellent opportunity for anyone to hear a few judges review and critique images which did very well and which didn’t quite get Accepted into the National Exhibition. I’m looking forward to all of this and seeing some long time friends which I have to seen in years.
