As planned, the bike went in for service today. Oil change, cable adjustments, brakes, etc plus they fixed a loose exhaust clamp. What a great bunch at Rattlesnake Harley Davidson in Kennewick, Washington. Two large full floors plus a separate building for the service department. One floor was all bikes and one was all parts and clothing,etc!
My friend, Rob had a viewing this morning so he picked me up and took me out for lunch. We got to catch up and then he took me back to pickup my bike. I then went out to his home/studio/portrait park and got the full tour. Met his wonderful wife, Judy and we had a great steak supper before I headed back to the motel.
Sorry for the dull day but some days like this are necessary on a long trip. The bike does seem to be peppy-er and I’m sure the overdue oil change will help her run better.

Sounds like the po-ta-toe, po-ta-toe based machine is holding up well and has been giving more enjoyment than a person has a right to have. As far as a day off – well earned and deserved. Did they wash & wax your scooter too?

They did wash it but no wax as their detailed was off on Mondays. But after today’s mess she will need another wash:)
