We packed up the bike, got a tour of Ashley’s workplace, and then headed out to Saskatoon. It was a beautiful sunny day but it was a cool 12 degrees Celsius with a typical prairie wind. Not much to see along highway 16 in Alberta and Saskatchewan in May. But at approximately 2:30 we went through Lloydminster ( a town half in Ab and half in Sask) and that leaves only one province or state (in mainland N. America) that I have not ridden in!
That’s right -out of the 10 Canadian provinces and the 48 contiguous states, Manitoba remains the only one I have not ridden a motorcycle in! And tomorrow that will be no longer! As for our Canadian Territories, Alaska and Hawaii I doubt if those will happen and I’m okay with that – those were never part of my plan.
Tomorrow we plan on hitting the road at 0700 and continuing on route 16E through Yorkton and on to Winnipeg. Until tomorrow night – I bid you adieu!
