We spent Monday (American Memorial Day) with my friend and colleague, Misti and her three children (Cade-16, Calyn-13 and Caitrin-11) site-seeing around their hometown of Prim, Arkansas. The morning started off with breakfast of biscuits and chocolate gravy. Yes – chocolate gravy! And it was yummmmmy! Misti then gave us a tour of her residential studio and some new products she is selling. One of them was very cool, so I will have to look into the Canadian availability for it.
It was a beautiful, hot, day with a nice breeze and some clouds. We visited the Greers Ferry Dam, which was the last public appearance (and dedication ceremony) of J.F.K. before that fatal day in Dallas. We also went to a neat little creek that has water which stays at a constant 57 F all year long and then to Misti’s church picnic for a little bit. All in all it was a great visit.
