Really slept in this morning – almost 0830 when we got out of bed and almost 0930 when we hit the road. But another gorgeous day in Indiana and Kentucky. Drove some really nice back roads in Ky to get here to the Corner House B& B in Nicholasville ( just south of Lexington. It was great to see owner, Karen Pedigo, again after almost 2 years. She is one of the most wonderful people you will ever meet. I can hardly wait to see what she serves us for breakfast in the morning as she is an awesome cook as well. I HIGHLY recommend for everyone to stay here if they are in this area.
We saw a few nice horse farms on the way here but I think we will go just a little north of Lexington tomorrow to see a few of the really nice ones before we head south to Tennessee. We are just relaxing on the porch right now with a glass of Jack and a very nice LFD cigar and enjoying the 77 degree weather. Going to a nice little restaurant owner by a friend of Karen,s for supper.
