I’m now less than 10 days away from beginning the journey. Yes – you read correctly because my new Estimated Departure Time is Sunday, April 27 @ 1500. After mapping out my planned route I decided I really wanted to stop in on our friend Karen in Kentucky but I don’t have the luxury of losing daylight hours for a visit. So by leaving on Sunday I can get to Karen’s Corner House B&B Tuesday evening and spend the night. She makes the most delicious breakfasts you can imagine – so I won’t need lunch on Wednesday as I put the hammer down and head through America’s Heartland.
To help “all y’all” with the route tracking I’ll continue with the eastward hints. After we have our Duck Commander visit, swamp tour and feed of gator we’ll take couple of days to meander through the deep south to my artist workshop at the Florida Professional Photographers Annual Photography School. I’ll be studying there for four days with two of the most amazing portrait artists in North America while Pam suffers through waiting for me on the beach and by the pool.
