In less than 28 days I will be leaving on my journey. The Harley still needs new tires (The Cat Shack has them waiting for me) and I need to get it down to Privateers for oil change and service but other than that I am ready to go. Today’s blog is the first containing information to help you formulate your educated guess for the Mileage Challenge and a cool $500 certificate!
My first destination is the International Wall Portrait Conference in Washington State. I can tell you that as much as I love riding long distance I’m not a fan of the TCH from NB to western Ontario (wonderful drivers that they are) and would certainly prefer to stay on secondary highways the entire way. However, I only have six days to get there so you do the math! AND, although I do have the full complement of heated riding gear, I plan to wear it as little as possible.
