Outdoor family photos make great wall decor.
Winter, spring, summer or fall – outdoor family photos can be a great reflection of who your family is. I travel throughout Atlantic Canada so no location is too far. I have also travelled further afield if your preferred location is not local!
Outdoor family photos are actually one of my two specialties. I have been Accredited by the Professional Photographers of Canada in Environmental Family Portraits. This assures you of the highest quality portraits possible.
There is a Design Meeting included in all of my sessions. We will sit down and discuss all aspects of your portraits. Time of year, time of day, style, feeling, clothing, where it will be displayed and so much more. I believe in beginning with the end in mind. This ensures that your outdoor family photos will be exactly what you want.
This family portrait was created in early fall so the greens are still nice and bright and fit well with their decor. They are a close knit family and the wall space in their room would only hold a small 24″ canvas. After considering everything we decided on a more clustered composition. This is a more classic image with everyone looking at the camera. The darker clothing colours diminish body size and help the faces to just “pop”.
