Getting creative with pet photography isn’t always easy. But by working together with pet owners I can usually come up with an image you’ll love!
Over the years I’ve photographed, cats, dogs, birds, reptiles, rodents, snakes, horses, cows, goats, chickens and more. There’s no pet I won’t attempt to create a portrait for. Although pet spiders do give me the “heebie jeebies”.
Pet photography is a challenge because animal faces are a completely different shape from people. The eyes are almost always on two different planes, they are usually covered with hair and their noses are much longer (although there was this one guy . . )
Of course you can choose a studio portrait or an outdoor, location session. Pets are always welcome in family photos and in portraits with your children.
