Had a great ride today. Thank goodness for Heated Gear!! I was actually warm despite the crappy weather I had for  the Canadian part of my day. Also glad Jessica MacGillivary was able to work early as I left Truro at 2:05 p.m. and got into the Motel6 just about 15 minutes after sunset so still lots of light. Pitch black now though (8:32 Eastern Time Zone)
Ran into heavy drizzle at the Cobequid Pass and didn’t drive out of it until Saint John – no rain though. A guy at the Big Stop in Salisbury told me it was 2 degrees!! (that’s just under 36 for my American friends).
From Saint John to the border it was blowing a gale! Had a nice Border officer but she still needed to see my camera gear after she asked what i did for a living! Once she saw my little NIkon1 she just told me I was good to go and to watch out for deer. Nice ride on the Airline – 60 MPH and no wind or rain.
Wildlife count stands at 7 deer.
I’m waiting for a Dominos Pizza now.
