As many of you know I am a firm believer in continuing education. I have also learned over the years from being self-employed that time off (real time away from work) is a necessity and for me that’s time spent on my Harley for miles and days. This year I am combining the two as I will be attending the International Wall Portrait Conference in Washington state from May 4-9 and the Florida Professional Photography School from June 1-4. In exactly one month I will be leaving Truro on April 28th at approximately 0600 riding out to the WPC. In between the two I will be visiting colleagues in Manitoba, Missouri and Louisinana, my daughter in Alberta and friends in Saskatchewan and Arkansas.
In conjunction with this journey I am offering an opportunity for my clients and prospective clients to win a portrait package worth up to $500. From now until I leave I will be posting information about my planned stops and routes to help you figure out how many kilometres I will travel from the time I leave my driveway until the time I return to it six weeks later.
