Who Do You Think You Are?

“Who Do  You Think You Are?” – it is a popular tv program which many of you have seen. It helps celebrities trace back part of their ancestry. In a recent session I did with one of my more regular clients we created some images with this wonderful little man and a Bosnian flag. You see, his father came here from there and his Mom felt it was important that he know it and be very proud of it. We thought about using some old, decrepit buildings to represent the devastation but lack of time, no suitable close options and the “cliche` feeling” had me going another route. A bright and beautiful summer day, with lots of greenery and a solid, intact retaining wall set the scene to represent all the good, the strength and the bright future of this child. We had the portraits completed and ready for presenting to Dad and to his parents just in time for Bosnian Independence celebration.
