The Portrait Artist, Kirk, actually started photographing while working on a dairy farm in Pictou county in 1982/83. Kirk photographed his first wedding in New Glasgow in 1984. He went on to photograph hundreds of weddings across Canada. He began studying with as many of the top portraitists in Canada and the USA. It was in 2007 when Kirk began mentoring with the the “grandfather of Wall Portraits”, Ken Whitmire, and changed his focus to family portraiture. Because of this studying and apprenticing you now have the choice of a traditional photograph or a “hybrid” painted portrait. Check out more Paintings Here!
